Anyone who is going through a heartbreak often finds himself deluge with advice from friends that it is time to move on and stop living in the past. Much easier said than done I would say.
Anyone outside of a just ended relationship finds it to easy to throw that unsolicited advice: JUST MOVE ON! There is of course the possibility that they are genuinely concern about your well-being and most likely trying to cheer you up. Though for the person who is going through the process of recovering from a heartbreak it is not just that easy. Doesn’t matter whether it is a short-lived or a long-running relationship, I think the factor that makes it difficult to move on is the amount of emotions that was invested into that relationship.
Picking up the pieces and starting all over again really differs in each situation. It is easier to move on if not a lot of emotion was put into the relationship. It is totally different if either or both parties really put everything or almost all their emotions into the relationship.
So for those who would give out the advice to someone going through a heartbreak of moving on, though your intent maybe pure be sensitive also to the situation or the feelings of the one you are giving out an advice to as you may never know how they would take it.
