Staring at a blank wall

Would you believe that I took this photo inside a museum? If this is in a museum, where are the exhibits? I guess that is what these four are also looking for. Were they really ripped-off, or they really are looking at something and not just a blank wall?

I’ll let you in on a little secret: that is really not a blank wall but indeed I took this photo in a museum. So what are they staring at? Those are actual words from one of Jose Rizal’s work engraved on the wall. Don’t believe me, take a look at the photo below.

So do you believe me now?

Not everything is what they seem.

Photo taken at the Rizal Museum inside Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila using a Canon EOS 600D with 18-135 mm kit lens.
